A man from Fond du Lac is dead after driving over a 35-foot cliff on his ATV.

RCMP tell say alcohol and no helmet are believed to be factors in his death.

The 52-year-old was reported missing last Sunday by his co-workers.

He was found a day later laying beside his ATV. He died in hospital a few days later.

Fond du Lac is a remote, fly-in community just east of Lake Athabasca.
