A Regina business has been targeted by a phone scam.

RCMP are warning about a caller claiming to be from the Saskatchewan Business Directory.

They called a Regina business, asking them to re-subscribe.

The business gave out their information.  The caller then asked for $200 for the renewal.

That is when the business started asking questions about the past subscription with an invoice.

The caller then hung up.

RCMP officers say businesses should start asking questions when callers ask for information over the phone.

They are asking anyone with information on the caller to contact Crime Stoppers.
