Saskatchewan Roughrider quarterback hopeful Colt Brennan is no longer with the team.
The catch from the University of Hawaii, where he was considered a star, was released by the Roughriders Monday.
Brennan was a Heisman Trophy finalist who held a number of NCAA records, including for most touchdown passes in a single season.
He was drafted in the sixth round by the Washington Redskins in 2008, but released in 2010.
With Brennan's departure, the Roughriders still have three quarterbacks under contract -- Darian Durant and backups J.T. O’Sullivan, Levi Brown and Drew Willy.
