A man has died after a frightening collision Monday afternoon.

The man was driving a farm tractor pulling a seeding implement north of Weyburn along highway 39.  He turned onto a grid road where the tractor was struck by a southbound train around 4 p.m. 

The driver was taken to hospital by EMS.  He later died from his injuries.

Traffic was delayed for several hours on the highway.  RCMP and CP Police continue to investigate.
